3. Insert invoice details
Customer details can automatically be imported from the Business Register (currently for Estonian, Latvian, and Finnish companies). Add products or services and payment details that will be conveniently saved for future use.

- Can I send free invoices with Sliptree?
Depends on your needs. Create a free account, generate unlimited invoices for 2 weeks, then continue with up to 10 invoices per year and 5 customers. If you need more, you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.
- What is the difference between a PDF and an electronic invoice?
An electronic invoice (or e-invoice) is a machine-readable XML format document that complies with a specific standard and moves directly to the recipient's accounting software. PDF invoices need to be manually entered into the system.
- What invoice format does Sliptree use?
Invoices are generated as PDFs, which you can send by email or even download and print, if need be. Alternatively, you can export invoices to XML or Peppol BIS Billing 3 formats and send as electronic invoice.
- Do I need to verify my identity?
Only for sending electronic invoices (e.g. e-invoice). Verification is done via Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, or ID-card.
- Can I customize my invoice layout?
